Pink is an immersive dance performance which deals with the concept of loss and memory. Through the method of diary and incoherent dance, I revisited a loss experienced during my childhood. Investigating on how a traumatic experience or vulnerability can become powerful through exposure, a persona was composed who incorporates elements of child heroes and the aesthetics of celebration (parties). The written texts of the diary were approached as abstract scores which were translated into movement, video-making and sound. During the whole performance, I engage with the movement of turning while a video is projected on top of me.

By working with repetition and turning, I wanted to create an immersive and mesmerizing atmosphere where time is undefined and space is constantly moving. The audience is invited to immerse into this dimension of time and space and take a peek on the diary through a sensorial way.
